Assistant Professor of Computer Science
(Tenure-track opening for Fall 2014)
Candidates specializing in Cyber Security and Network Security are particularly encouraged to apply, but strong applicants in other areas of Computer Science will be considered as well.
Successful applicants will:
Have a strong commitment to teaching
Teach core as well as advanced undergraduate and graduate courses in the ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science, the Bachelor of Arts, and the Master of Science
Demonstrate scholarly activity
Possess potential to direct student research
Show a deep interest in collaborative engagements within the Department and the College
Faculty members teach four (4) sections a semester including the introductory courses required of all students as well as courses in their field.
Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related discipline by August 2014
Finalists for the position will be required to teach a class as part of the application process.
