Assistant Professor of Computer Science

The Computer Science Department at Iona College invites applicants for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor starting Fall 2015.  By the beginning of employment, the candidate must have earned a PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline.  The candidate must have a strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and do scholarly activity with the potential for directing student research in a liberal arts environment.  The department’s programs include an ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science as well as a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science.  The department offers a concentration in Cyber Security at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Candidates specializing in cyber and network security are strongly encouraged to apply but candidates in all areas of computer science will be considered.
