Marriage and Family Therapy Department seeks
Full-Time, Tenure Track Faculty
Iona College and the faculty of the COAMFTE Accredited Master’s program in Marriage and Family Therapy are seeking to fill a full-time, tenure-track position in the department. We are looking for a colleague who will share our commitment to teach and supervise entry level marriage and family therapy professionals.
Candidates should possess a PhD in marriage and family therapy from a COAMFTE accredited program, or its equivalent.
Candidates should also be an AAMFT Approved Supervisor or close to completing the requirements for the designation.
Carry an academic load of 9 graduate credits per semester consisting of teaching marriage and family therapy theory/practice
Individual supervision of practicum students in our department operated Family Therapy Center
Group supervision of students in external practicum sites.
Additional responsibilities include participation in monthly faculty meetings, departmental and college committee assignments, and mentoring of MFT students.
