Marriage and Family Therapy Tenure Track Faculty

Marriage and Family Therapy Department seeks                         
Full-Time, Tenure Track Faculty
Fall 2014
         
Iona College and the faculty of the COAMFTE Accredited Master’s program in Marriage and Family Therapy are seeking to fill a full-time, tenure-track position in the department.  We are looking for a colleague who will share our commitment to teach and supervise entry level marriage and family therapy professionals.
 
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a PhD in marriage and family therapy from a COAMFTE accredited program, or its equivalent. 
Candidates should also be an AAMFT Approved Supervisor or close to completing the requirements for the designation.
 
Responsibilities:              
  • Carry an academic load of 9 graduate credits per semester consisting of teaching marriage and family therapy theory/practice
  • Individual supervision of practicum students in our department operated Family Therapy Center
  • Group supervision of students in external practicum sites. 
Additional responsibilities include participation in monthly faculty meetings, departmental and college committee assignments, and mentoring of MFT students.
