Non-Tenure Track Full Time Postdoctoral Teaching Scholar - Chemistry Department

The Department of Chemistry at Iona College invites applications for a non-tenure track, full-time postdoctoral teaching scholar, to start in the fall of 2014.
This teaching scholar will work closely with faculty to teach undergraduate chemistry courses (12 cr hours per semester) and conduct research in the field of surface and colloid science-biointerface under the direction of the Endowed Chair, Professor Sunghee Lee.
The position is for a 12-month appointment, potentially renewable for subsequent years.
Applicants must have obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry, and be committed to excellence in teaching undergraduates, be capable of supervising undergraduate research and be an active member of the Department.
Recent PhDs who plan to pursue academic careers in teaching and research at 4-year liberal arts colleges are encouraged to apply.
