Undergraduate Student Services Coordinator -  Hagan School of Business

Job Summary:
The Student Services Coordinator is responsible for handling the Student Services front desk, responding to student and faculty inquiries, answering the telephone, BBA file maintenance, filing and record-keeping. Above all, the applicant must be personable, courteous and maintain professional demeanor on behalf of the Hagan Dean’s Office.
 
Qualifications:
 
Education: High School Diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
 
Experience: One to two years office experience preferred.
 
Specialized Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to use computer systems – especially Microsoft Office Suite, Access, PeopleSoft and internet based information systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for covering the Hagan Student Services front desk.  Screen and direct all student, faculty and general inquiries for the Hagan Dean’s Office.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of College and School academic policies, procedures and deadlines; familiarity with FERPA regulations regarding student right to privacy.
  • Coordinate/schedule appointments and advisement sessions with Director, Advisor and Associate Dean as necessary.
  • Maintain online appointment calendar for Associate Dean, Director and Advisor.
  • Responsible for maintenance of BBA student records, all filing and record keeping.
  • Responsible for maintenance of the BBA Academic Standing database and coordination of all related correspondence, report, and letter generation.
  • Responsible for replenishment of all undergraduate Dean’s Office forms: program cards, withdrawal forms, exam booklets, etc.
  • Generate letters, memos, reports, and mailings as required.
  • Assist with administration of Hagan School Faculty/Student evaluations.
  • Other duties, research and projects as assigned.
