Sacred Silence: The Practice of Iconography
Icons are one of the most ancient and best known forms of Christian sacred art. While playing an essential role in the Eastern Rite churches, icons continue to attract a wide audience from the Western Rite. Icons open up a window for instruction, prayer and meditation. Join us for an exhibition of the work of four local icon painters and learn about the meaning of this traditional practice. Artists: Chantal Heinegg, Ofelia Manero, Barbara Vartenigian, Marek Czarnecki.
