Jeffry Haber is Professor of Accounting at Iona College, teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in a variety of accounting areas. He publishes in the areas of investments, anti-money laundering and terrorist financing, earnings quality, ethics, bankruptcy prediction and other areas of financial and managerial accounting. Haber received BS and MS degrees from Syracuse University and a PhD from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and is a CPA licensed in New York. He is a frequent speaker at academic, professional, investment and accounting conferences.
He is also the Founder and President of the Uncorrelated Fund, an innovative fund platform that allows investors to choose among an uncorrelated return, a highly positively correlated return or a highly negatively correlated return, against any investment return the investor chooses, calculated over any time period the investor chooses.
Haber is also Controller of the Commonwealth Fund, a private foundation.
He is the author of “What If Everything We Knew About Investing Was Wrong?” and “Accounting Demystified,” a primer on financial accounting, which is available in English and Chinese.
