Professor Hugh McCabe, a native of New Rochelle, earned a BA in Psychology and an MBA in Organizational Behavior from Iona College. He is Clinical Professor of Management and Chairs the Management Department. Professor McCabe teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in International Management and also teaches the MBA 500 course, Business Perspectives. McCabe came to Iona after a three decade career with SUNY Westchester Community College and SUNY Maritime College. At Westchester he held the Joseph and Sophie Abeles Endowed Chair in International Business and served as the Chairperson of the International Business curriculum. He also served as the Faculty Senate President at WCC. McCabe has been recognized as the Empire State Development International Trade Partner of the Year, and is the recipient of the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching. He is also the recipient of the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development Excellence Award and the Chair Academy International Excellence Award.
Professor McCabe has presented papers in London, Oxford, and the University of Connecticut. He has been published in the International Journal of Value Based Management and has chapters in two books.
