Dr. Beaudin has enjoyed an extensive career in urban education serving as a teacher, principal, and district superintendent throughout the metropolitan New York area. Dr. Beaudin returned to Iona as an Education Department faculty member in 2006, teaching courses in literacy and adolescent pedagogy. His research interests include curriculum evaluation, student voice, educational reform, instructional planning and assessment. Dr. Beaudin speaks to educators across the nation on these topics as well as the Common Core State Standards.
