BS in Biology: Pre-Professional Concentration

The Pre-Professional concentration in the Biology major is designed specifically for students to wish to go onto medical, dental, and other professional schools. The curriculum is designed so that students take challenging upper-level electives to prepare them well for standardized tests like the MCATs, DATs, and GREs but also to prepare them to succeed once they are accepted into their various professional programs. In order for students to graduate with this concentration, students are required to maintain a 3.2 overall and science GPA.

For admission to the pre-professional concentration, a student must have a minimum cumulative index of 3.0 and a minimum science index of 3.2 at the end of sophmore year. Pre-Professional Concentration includes Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Medicine.
