Other Scholarly Activities

Dr. Castonguay: organized the symposium at the 245th ACS National Meeting, New Orleans, LA: for “Molecular Modeling in the Undergraduate Curriculum”, CHED division.
 
Dr. Kristian:  organized the first annual "Frontiers of Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry Symposium" as part of her role as co-chair of the Inorganic and Organometallic Topical Group of the American Chemical Society New York Local Section.  The event was held in September 2012 at Columbia University and attracted an audience of more than 75 faculty, students, and industrial chemists.  The symposium featured the latest research accomplishments of chemists from the NY Local Section with a keynote address from Professor Paul Chirik of Princeton University.
