Adjunct Professor (Visual Arts)
Robin Tedesco is an artist and educator working in New Rochelle. She has degrees in Fine Arts from Moore College of Art (BFA), Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and University of Delaware (MFA). Her abstract oil paintings on wood panels utilize many layers of color and reflect her experience living in Italy and now in New York. Her work is collected internationally and she is represented by Reverol & Co. Contemporary Arts Gallery in New Rochelle, New York.
She has taught all levels of drawing and painting for 18 years and currently teaches art appreciation and painting in New York and The Treasures of Rome and Florence in Iona’s Study Abroad program. The link between the study of art history (which she also studied while living in Italy) with the perspective of a working artist is central to her teaching. She resides in the Bronx with her husband and her labrador retriever.
