Lisa Baroni earned her M.S. in Family Counseling from Iona College in the spring of 1997. She has been a member of the faculty of the Dept. of Marriage and Family Therapy since 2000. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of New York, and in Connecticut holds a license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She is a Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a member of the American Counseling Association, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She has received Special Recognition by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) in the area of Continuting Education. She maintains a private practice and serves as a member of the Disaster Response Team for the Westchester Division of the American Red Cross. She has been a  Clinical Affiliate and EAP presentor for Corporate Counseling Associates of Park Avenue, NYC., since 9/11. She has a special interest in working with couples and with families who have experienced a recent traumatic loss, and has facilitated bereavement support groups in Westchester County.
