Professor Aldredge’s scholarly interests include culture, interactionism, deviance, and youth studies. He regularly teaches Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, Deviant Behavior, Popular Culture, Research Methods, and the Senior Capstone. He has also taught Criminology, Penology, Political Sociology, and in the Honors Program. Dr. Aldredge belongs to the American Sociological Association, the Eastern Sociological Society and the Society for the Study of Symbolic Interaction.
