Congratulations on your admission to Iona College.  Iona is here to support you through the entire enrollment process and in becoming a part of the Iona community.

Your next steps

1. Visit … and get to know us better!

2. Apply for Financial Aid

  • All students automatically receive scholarship consideration.
  • File your FAFSA at as soon as possible to receive your financial aid package and to activate any scholarships you may have received. Make sure to include the Iona College code: 002737. In preparation for filing your FAFSA, work on all tax returns early and make sure both you and one of your parents obtain a Federal Student Aid Identification Number (PIN) from the U.S. Department of Education here.

  • Your Personal Financial Aid Counselor is assigned by last name and can be contacted at Student Financial Services.
  • Be sure to accept your financial aid awards online by following the instructions at

3. Submit your enrollment deposit

  • Pay your deposit via credit card at or send a check made payable to Iona College.
    • $650 for residential students. More information on the housing process will be sent to you once we receive your deposit.
    • $400 for commuting students.

4. Sign Up for Orientation

Get your first taste of Iona as an official Gael! To sign up for orientation, any student who has paid a deposit can click on the following link: Enter your Student ID (which is found on your admission letter) and follow the steps to submit all paperwork.

5. Confirm Your Housing and Dining Plans

If you are planning to live on campus, you’ll be part of a residential community of nearly 1,300 students. Check out the Class of 2019 links to fill out your housing paperwork, including the Resident Hall Agreement and Resident Information Card, available online at:

6. Get Immunized!

A student health form and immunization records should be submitted at orientation or prior to the start of classes.  Follow the Class of 2019 link at

7. Provide Official Academic Credentials by August 1, 2015

  • Provide final, official high school transcript(s) and AP/IB test scores (if applicable).
  • Provide final, official college transcript(s) from any course you took while in high school.
  • All transcripts must be sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Iona College, 715 North Avenue, New Rochelle, NY 10801.

8. Make the Most of Your Summer

  • Freshmen Survey: Complete the Freshman Survey that is part of the on-line orientation registration to tell us more about your course, housing and communication preferences.
  • Visit the Bookstore: Stock up on your Gael gear and check out your textbooks at
