Eject DVD/CD: Use keyboard button next to F12 (hold down for 1 second)
Sound: Projector must be on; Use Volume Up/Down buttons on wall; in Windows, you may have to unmute the sound (audio icon at bottom right of screen)
Computer: If it will not turn on, make sure white power cord is plugged into back.
Projector: If projector does not display, make sure white projector cord is plugged into back of computer. You must then RESTART computer, for projector to work.
Do not accidently touch power button when adjusting screen (lower left on back kof computer)
Projector and Wall Control Buttons
Use ON and OFF buttons on the wall near the computer. The projector will show the computer, by default.
Video wall button projects the DVD/VCR. Press the CPU or COMP button to switch back to projecting the computer.
Sound: Use the Volume Up and Down buttons on the wall. If there is still no sound, press the sound buttons on the keyboard (F11 and F12).
Using the Computer (iMac)
To turn on an iMac
Press the power button located behind the monitor on lower left corner.
Choose Operating System
Use the arrows keys (LEFT or RIGHT) to choose an operating system (Windows or Mac), and press return key. To log into Windows, press Control + Option + Delete keys at the same time.
Shutdown or Restart from Mac OS
Click on the Apple icon on the upper left corner of monitor, choose shutdown or restart.
Switch from one Operating System to Another
Restart the computer and then choose which operating system you want.
Insert and Eject a CD or DVD on the Computer
The thin slot for CDs and DVDs is located on the right side of the monitor. The top of the CD/DVD should face you as you push it into the monitor. Eject a CD/DVD by pressing the eject key next to F12 (hold the key down for 1 second). Projector must be on for sound.
Play a DVD on the Computer
In Windows or Mac OS, wait until computer is started up. Push the DVD into the computer. It will begin playing automatically. If it does not play, click the orange play icon at bottom left of screen. Highlight the DVD and click Play.
USB Ports (Flash drives)
USB ports are located behind the computer monitor on the bottom right.
Play a DVD or VHS Tape in the Combo Unit
Turn the projector on (see above). Put the DVD or VHS Tape into the combinations DVD/VCR player. Then press Video 1 button on the wall. If nothing happens or a television station appears, you may have to press the Video 1 button again to cycle to the VCR/DVD player. You may have to press the VHS/DVD button on the combo unit.
