Student Health Insurance

Dear Student & Parent/Guardian:

Iona College is very concerned about the health and the financial well-being of its students. An unexpected Accident or Illness can result in the need for specialized care and higher than anticipated medical expenses. Student Accident & Sickness insurance can help students obtain the necessary treatment and reduce out of pocket expenses; therefore, we are pleased to advise you that Iona has arranged for a Student Health Insurance Plan that is in compliance with the federal healthcare legislation referred to as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act for the 2013-2014 school year. The Student Health Plan brochure provides complete details regarding the coverage, benefits, limits and exclusions. The brochure will be posted online here. If you have questions following your review of the brochure, please contact the Program Manager, The Allen J. Flood Companies Inc., at (800) 734-9326 ext. 259 and speak to Anet Gainey.
