Kaleidoscope Literary Magazine


Kaleidoscope produces a literary and visual arts magazine each semester through which students can share their artistic relations. We accept poetry, prose, short stories, personal essays, art, and photography, all of which can be submitted to We advocate for the arts and encourage all forms of creativity, and would love to see what you have to offer!

  • Poet’s Corner – An off-campus event where students can share their creations via spoken word with the New Rochelle community.
  • Art to Heart – An event that celebrates art, love, and creativity around Valentine’s Day alongside Gael Pride.
  • Spoken Word Artist – For the past few semesters, Kaleidoscope has hosted events where we listen to spoken word artists such as Neil Hilborn and Pages Matam. A night of fun and celebration of spoken word for all!
  • Release Party – A culmination of all our hard work and when we share our magazine with the Iona community.
