Creative expression through a new Performing Arts Center

There is a consensus among administrators, faculty and trustees that arts education enriches and enhances academic distinction. There is a nascent undercurrent of creativity and artistic inspiration that can be nurtured through providing the right amount of resources and facilities. The addition of a performing arts venue will enhance the overall Iona experience, complement existing facilities and create new synergies with New York City’s artistic communities and organizations. It will provide for professional-grade student productions, enable the College to enhance the existing music and theater based academic track and strengthen ties and increased support from the community. This venue will become a destination for the arts and foster a legacy of creativity for future generations.

Venue features:
  • Marquee performance hall
  • Multipurpose rehearsal space
  • Grand entrance lobby
  • Workspace for an artist-in-residence
  • State-of-the-art technical and support spaces
