The names represent all constituencies of the College. The task is to plan the October 27-28, 2011 academic convocation which will culminate at the Inauguration of Dr. Joseph E. Nyre as the eighth President of Iona College. The schedule of events will offer opportunities for the Iona community to unite in a common purpose, reflect and celebrate the past, and to envision a future of continued growth in the tradition of the Christian Brothers and American Catholic higher education.

It is a unique time in the history of Iona. Let us together move forward, recommitting ourselves with energy and pride to the mission of justice, peace and service.
