***Special Gallery Hours, Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25, 12:30 - 5:30. On Saturday, September 24, Curator and Artist Ted Mikulski will be on hand to discuss the exhibition and facilitate a public collaborative piece of artwork.
The idea is simple: 10 artists from New York and New England each begin two works of art in any media. The works are then handed off and finished by another one of the artists. The results? Come and see!

CLASSICAL MUSIC: Music Amici: "A Living Tribute: Music from Jewish Heritage"

This extraordinary chamber ensemble presents a program of music influenced by the Jewish Heritage. Featuring works for piano, clarinet and strings, the group will perform chamber music by Sergei Prokofiev, Max Bruch, Dmitri Shostakovitch and Alexander Krein as well as music that represents composers who were victims of the camps during the tragic era of the Holocaust.

The PT2 Dance Company, a group of 6 dancers who combine "fearlessness and skill" will perform and interpret excerpts from the work of world-renowned modern dance choreographer, Paul Taylor. In a lecture demonstration, the audience will experience how Taylor's dances may be inspired by pure movement, or they may procide commentary on social or political events. The works will be introduced by the company director, who will describe its significance.

"Harvie S Power Band"

In 1938 Thorton Wilder wrote this comedy which features Dolly Levi, the matchmaker who helps a local merchant, Horace Vandergelder find a new wife. Sound familiar? This play was the inspiration for the wildly successful musical comedy "Hello Dolly!"

An estimated 5.4 million people in the United States live with this disease. Every 69 seconds, someone is diagnosed. This exhibition, a photo essay by Michele Muir, features black and white photos and memories of the lives of people living with the disease. November is National Alzheimer's Disease month.

Set in the mountains of Connemara, County Galway, the production tells the tale of Maureen Folan, a plain and lonely woman, and Mag, her manipulative aging mother, whose interference in Maureen's first and possibly final chance of a loving relationship sets in motion a train of events that leads inexorably towards the play's riveting denouement.

As the dark days lengthen, many sacred traditions conjure the light by intoning ancient and contemporary expressions of mystical song. This evening of sacred music from the great spiritual traditions gathers a consort of Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist singers and musicians in a memorial concert to honor the Interfaith Legacy of Brother John Gerald Driscoll, Iona's sixth president.

A notion verses the actuality of street art - two varying concepts, yet one in the same. By way of color, collage, composition and explosive impressionism; artists Borbay and Ryan Seslow delve into the pulse of "Gotham", on canvas, on board, off the tax payers ledger. This exhibition biopsies the street art experience, with no mention of the inside, or outside, of a box.

The Drowsy Chaperone pays tribute to the Jazz-age shows of the 1920s and the power of those shows held to transport us into a dazzling fantasy and to lift our spirits in times of sadness. It boldy addresses a great unspoken desire in all of our hearts; to be entertained. It all begins when a die-hard musical-theater fan plays his favorite cast album on his turntable, and the musical literally bursts to life in his living room, telling the rambunctious tale of a brazen Broadway starlet trying to find, and keep her true love.
