Department of Fine and Performing Arts

The department of Fine and Performing Arts offers courses applicable to all undergraduate degree core programs, and elective courses for all programs. These courses include music, theatre, dance and visual art. Students may choose a 15-credit minor concentration in one of these disciplines.

The college core requirement in Fine and Performing Arts
Undergraduate candidates for the BA, BS, and BBA degrees must complete 3 credits (one 200-level FPA course) in one area of their choice; music, theatre, dance or visual art.

The minor in Fine and Performing Arts
Students complete 12 credits in one of the four FPA areas and 3 credits in one of the other three areas. (Students should contact the department chair to register for this program.)
