Dr. Jirik-Babb is a clinical health psychologist whose research and publications focus on various aspects of eating disorders (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and obesity) as well as on rehabilitation and on the relationship of health psychology and public policy. She also has interests in the theory and practice of counseling and in research design and data analysis and is an Assistant Attending Psychologist (voluntary staff) in the Department of Psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
