Assistant Clinical Supervisor, Friday Group Director

Jenn Cronin has been an assistant clinical supervisor for Iona College Speech and Language Hearing Clinic since February 2011 and Friday Group Director since January 2013.
Her clinical experience includes working with pediatric populations in both home and center-based settings. Her experiences include working with communication disorders and medical diagnoses including cerebral palsy, PDD, and a variety of genetic disorders.
Jenn's areas of interest include: oral-motor function and skills, sensory disorders, Augmentative Communication and Assistive Technology, narrative development, and facilitating early language development through gesture and sign. She is currently in the process of developing Iona's Assistive Technology Evaluation program for clients receiving services in clinic, as well as out in the community (schools, rehab centers, other facilities and programs). During her clinical experiences, she has participated as part of an Assistive Technology team in conjunction with a computer specialist and Occupational Therapist. Her therapeutic approach includes working collaboratively with other professionals including Occupational and Physical Therapists as well as educators.
