Peggy Constante is an assistant clinical supervisor for the Iona College Speech and Language Hearing Clinic. She has ten years of clinical experience that includes rehabilitation and school settings, serving populations with various syndromes and disabilities in the physical, cognitive, and communication domain from birth to 10 years of age.
Peggy's clinical interests include: the supervisory process in undergraduate and graduate student clinicians, the evaluative process for multidisciplinary evaluations (monolingual and bilingual) with various disciplines, assessing feeding/swallowing, oral motor skills, cognitive skills, and language development, and the treatment process for Early Intervention, Preschool, and the School Age population within the classroom environment and on an individual therapeutic basis, incorporating collaboration with staff and parents involved in client's care.
Her current clinical practice includes a Speech-Language Pathologist position in a school setting serving a population with various syndromes and disabilities in the physical, cognitive, and communication domain for Early Intervention, Preschool, and School Age; PROMPT Trained.
