Dorothy Leone, an Iona College Speech Communication Studies' alumnus, is studying for her doctorate in speech language pathology at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she received her Master of Science degree. Dorothy has been an assistant professor for the Speech Communication Studies department since Fall 2010. Dorothy is a New York State and ASHA certified speech language pathologist. Her clinical focus is supporting social differences for children with autism spectrum disorders, which is grown through her private practice work, consultation for school-aged programs in New York City and Westchester County, as well as through her supervision of undergraduate students at the Iona College Speech and Language and Hearing Clinic.
