Jennifer Gerometta, is an assistant professor in the Speech Communication Studies Department at Iona College. Jennifer Gerometta received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. She is currently completing her PhD in Speech-Language Hearing Sciences at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.

Jennifer Gerometta is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences Association and the Cognitive Neuroscience Society.

Research:
Her research focuses on the neurophysiological basis of speech perception, and the role of attention in speech perception and language development. Research interests also include the role of infant-directed speech in speech and language acquisition, and the role of phonotactic probabilities in language acquisition.
