The Department of Biological Sciences offers major programs each leading to a BS degree: Biology, Environmental Science and Medical Technology.
The Biology major has three concentrations and the department also offers a minor in biology.
The Biology Major has three concentrations:
> General Biology.
> Pre-professional Biology.
> Pre-physical Therapy.
The Biology Department is a member chapter of the National Biological Society, Beta Beta Beta.
The Biology faculty maintain active research programs and encourage our students to participate in research.

In conjunction with the Eduation Department, the Biology Department offers a Masters of Education in Biology.
