The George and Margaret Pappas Endowed Scholarship Fund

A Fund Established to Benefit Students Headed to Medical School

An endowed scholarship to serve as a perpetual tribute to the over 40 years of devoted service Dr. and Mrs. Pappas have given to Iona College and its students. This scholarship was established by the children of Margaret and George Pappas on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. The endowed scholarship provides financial support to an Iona College senior entering medical school. Required qualifications are a high academic record, high MCAT scores and personal qualities consonant to the requirements of the medical profession which reflect service to humanity and the mission of Iona College.

Danielle Guerrino ('11) with Dr. Joseph Stabile.
Ms. Guerrino will be attending the
Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine
.

Erin Kyle ('11) with Dr. Joseph Stabile.
Ms. Kyle will be attending the
Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at the
University of Washington School of Medicine.
