Personal Statement

In my current position, I have been able to apply the things I have learned in school in real-world scenarios. For example, I have applied the 'binary progression logic' into a security model at a major Insurance company within their Billing & Accounting Systems; used the concept of 'pointers and tree structures' during the design of a knowledge-base at a major Entertainment company (and much more).

Of course I have acquired more skills and knowledge working in the corporate world. But it is nearly an impossible task without a solid foundation; a foundation that can only be built with a successful curriculum. And I am thankful that Iona gave me the initial 'push' into this fast-moving, technology-oriented, innovative world where I too can make a difference.
