Personal Statement

As a consultant for Accenture, I work on a wide variety of projects for many clients. Although my specialty is within the field of Data Management and System Integration, I have also worked on web-applications, tablet-PC implementations, and over-all software development lifecycle project management.

My education at Iona has helped position me for career success. I have found that the theoretical nature of the Computer Science courses has prepared me to work on a wide variety of technologies and to learn new ideas quickly. Additionally, the practical nature of many courses helped me to "get my foot in the door" and land my first job after graduation. Iona has provided me with a strong foundation to adapt to the constantly changing world of Information Technology.
