Personal Statement

My current position within IBM is application architect on an internal global credit project. My primary focus is on the front end of the solution life-cycle for this application while we roll it out around the globe. I communicate with my customers to understanding their business requirements and I propose solutions to satisy these requirements. I guide the development team on production of detailed definitions for requirements, provide the development team leadership during construction of the solutions and I ensure a sufficient architecture is in place to host their solutions.

Iona has helped me get to where I am today by giving me the opportunity to become a leader. I was a pretty quiet and shy person but Iona's small class sizes and the extra-curricular activities they offer were instrumental in allowing me to become more outspoken. I've never shunned responsibility inside or outside of the classroom but without the opportunity to take responsibility I wouldn't be where I am today.
