Robert Schiaffino joined the faculty of Iona College in 1981. Dr. Schiaffino received a B.A. degree in Mathematics from Manhattan College, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Polytechnic University of New York. While at Iona Dr. Schiaffino has taught a range of undergraduate and graduate courses including Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Organization and Architecture, and Programming Languages. He has served as departmental chair and has been a member of numerous departmental and college wide committees.
