Paul O'Connell
Paul O'Connell Professor Paul O'Connell joined the Department's faculty in September of 1994 and served as Department Chair from 1996 through 1999. He teaches in all three programs offered by the Department. He possesses a BA in History from St. John's University, an M.P.A. from John Jay College, City University of New York, a J.D. from St. John's School of Law and a PhD in Criminal Justice from the Graduate Center, City University of New York. He practiced criminal and civil law for a number of years, and currently is engaged in a variety of research and private consulting projects. Professor O'Connell has recently authored a variety of publicationsand his research areas of interest include program analysis and evaluation, police training, management and performance assessment.
