The minor requires CRJ 205 "Introduction to Criminal Justice" and five additional courses on the 300 or 400 level for a total of 18 credits.
Minor in Security Threat Assessment and Terrorism
This minor will focus on the roots of international & domestic terrorist organizations, their ideologies, planning and recruitment, threat assessment strategies and intelligence analysis. Other areas of examination will include: Cyber-terrorism, counterintelligence analysis & training; an overview of biological and chemical warfare; school shootings, crisis management & emergency preparation, internet recruitment and radicalization; and correctional & community-based intelligence gathering.Â
