I. Course work (12 courses -- 36 credits)

Phase 1: EDU 721, EDU 800, EDU 922; any two Italian graduate courses (15 credits)

NB: Students are required to take two graduate courses in Italian that treat in a substantial way the periods before 1800 and three courses that treat the periods after 1800).

Phase 2: EDU 640, EDU 653, EDU 712, EDU 783; three additional graduate courses in Italian (21 credits)

II. Student Teaching (EDU 975) (6 credits) and Special Project in Foreign Language Education (Italian) (EDU 959) (3 credits)
