Recommendations
Language majors are urged to broaden their studies to include other modern or classical languages. French, Italian or Spanish majors may double major in International Studies, another language, or any other area of study.

Education Majors
Students pursuing BS degrees in Early Childhood Education and in Childhood Education may choose a concentration in Italian. A concentration in Italian consists of 10 courses (30 credits), 8 of which must be at the 300 or 400 level.

Students pursuing BA degrees in Adolescence Education must complete all the requirements for the Italian major, which include the requisite 9 courses (27 credits) at the 300 or 400 level, as well as the 33 credits in Education.
