Welcome to the Department of History.
The Department of History at Iona College takes pride in its strong collection of faculty whose scholarship and course-offerings cover a remarkably diverse range of historical periods, places and themes. The department offers a major program leading to a BA degree, a five year BA/MA program, as well as an MA program. The courses and program of the department are designed to both provide and sharpen the critical thinking skills and substantive knowledge necessary for a broad variety of professions.
