|Jim Eggensperger has more than 30 years of communications and journalism experience, including work as a sports, city and business editor as well as a corporate speechwriter, issue manager and television executive. Prior to joining the Iona faculty, he worked in PR and Marketing Communications agencies, developing marketing programs for clients such as IBM, Amerada Hess, Ernst and Young, Dannon Yogurt and ConAgra Foods as well as internal communication projects for Pfizer and Xerox.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Radio-TV Journalism from the University of Montana; a master's in Journalism from Columbia University and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. He holds a Ph.D in Organization and Management from Capella University.
His research interests include the impact of technology on organizational communication, learning transfer from military organizations to business and media economics in particular the impact of the Internet and organization of news organization.
