Advisement and Registration Advisors are an important link between students and the department. Their role is to assist students with course selection, provide career advice, recommendations, assistance with internships and information about graduate school. Advisors are the only people who can sign registration cards for students. The most important months for advisement are October and March. To register for a semester, students must:
Complete a registration card
Meet with their advisor and have their advisor sign their registration card
Arrange payment for the semester at the Student Financial Services Office
Take their completed registration card and proof of payment to the Registrar's Office at the appointed time.
