Dr. Joshua K. Leon

Joshua K. Leon earned a doctorate at Temple University in 2010. He researches in the area of global development, with a particular emphasis on global health and urbanization. His articles in these areas have recently appeared or are forthcoming in venues including Cambridge Review of International Affairs, Foreign Policy in Focus, Cities, The China Beat, Next American City and Z-Magazine. He is a frequent contributor to Foreign Policy in Focus, and was author of the "World Watch" column for Next American City from 2008-2011. He covered the 2010 Shanghai World Expo for Next American City magazine and Foreign Policy in Focus. He has taught in the political science departments at Villanova and Temple Universities, and in the International Area Studies department at Drexel University. He currently lives in New York City. |
