Faculty - Dr. Mary Hagerty
Mary Hagerty, PhD Professor Mary Hagerty has been with the Department of Political Science since 1992, teaching introductory courses in American government and upper-level courses in state and local politics, public administration and public policy. Dr. Hagerty worked for the New York State Legislature, and coordinates full-time, professional student internships in Albany and Washington, D.C. Professor Hagerty’s research interests include public sector labor relations, third party politics in New York State, conflict resolution/non-violent resistance movements, and the roles of gender, race, and ethnicity in American politics.
