Robert Lacey received his PhD from the University of Massachusetts in 2006. He came to Iona College in the fall of 2006 after serving as visiting assistant professor at Westfield State College. He teaches courses in political theory and American politics, and his research interests lie primarily in democratic theory and American political thought. He is also interested more generally in American political and intellectual history. He is the author of American Pragmatism and Democratic Faith (Northern Illinois University Press, 2008).
The International Studies Major furnishes students with the tools to follow and assess current political and economic events and changes.
