Professor Carrie Newman has more than 12 years of experience as a Human Resource Management/Organizational Development practitioner, research analyst, and consultant. She has successfully led organizational initiatives and research projects in the areas of group dynamics/team building, job satisfaction, employee motivation, job analysis, performance management, training and development, recruitment and selection, compensation benchmarking/assessment, and employment law.

She received her Master of Arts degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven, and is a 3rd year Ph.D. candidate in Applied Organizational Psychology at Hofstra University, currently conducting dissertation research in the area of performance management rating accuracy.
