SHEIN, PhD Senior Clinical Lecturer Phone: (914) 637-7784 E-mail: jshein@iona.edu Dr. Shein is a school and clinical psychologist whose interests include: ethical, legal, and professional issues as they pertain to the practice of psychology; individual and family psychotherapy; behavioral and emotional disorders in children and adolescents; educational psychology; and, consultation/collaboration with parents and school personnel. Prior to his appointment to Iona’s clinical faculty, he was a practicing school psychologist for twenty-five years. Dr. Shein is a past president of the Westchester County Psychological Association and a past chairperson of its Committee on Professional Ethics & Standards. Currently, he is Chairperson of the Committee on Ethical Practice of the New York State Psychological Association. Dr. Shein is the adviser to Iona’s Psychology Club.
