Dr. Greene is a clinical psychologist with interests in professional ethics, psychopathology and psychotherapy for individuals, groups and couples. He has published in the areas of treatment, suicide prevention, and disaster response. Active in the New York State Psychological Association, he has served as Chair of the Editorial Policies Committee, represented the Division of Clinical Psychology on the Governing Council of NYSPA from 2002-2005, and served as President of the Clinical Division in 2001. He will be returning to be the Clinical Division president position in 2010. Currently, he is on the Clinical Division’s Executive Board, and is the editor of that division’s newsletter. He is also a member of the Westchester County Psychological Association and chairs the Disaster Relief Committee.

In 2003, NYSPA awarded him the Distinguished Service Award and in 2006, WCPA awarded him their Distinguished Service Award.

Dr. Greene received his BA in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University, and his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University.

In 2006, Dr. Greene co-authored "FDNY Crisis Counseling: Innovative Responses to 9/11 Firefighters, Families, and Communities".

In 2008, Dr. Greene co-authored "What is Clinical Psychology."
