Dr. Oswald is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Iona College and a NYS licensed psychologist. She received a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Social and Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, and a Master's degree in Psycho-Educational Assessment and Counseling from Long Island University. Dr. Oswald's research interests include the areas of empathy and helping behavior, organizational issues related to gender-based stereotyping and hiring decisions, and using technology to teach psychology. Her research has been published in the Journal of Social Psychology, Sex Roles, Teaching of Psychology, Journal of Computing, Handbook for Teaching Statistics and Research Methods, and other edited volumes.
