Applied Industrial-Organizational Psychology
Quantitative and statistical computing skills
Preparation for doctoral study toward the PhD

Semester (limited summer classes)
Each class: Two hours, one evening a week
Some classes may start as early as 4:15 pm

Entry terms:
Fall, spring, summer

Application deadline: Rolling

Average course load per term:
3 courses full-time, 2 courses part-time (three credits each)

Credits to completion:
42 credits

Average time to complete degree: 2-3 years, dependent on course load per term

Internship/practicum required for degree completion:
300 hour practicum which may be fulfilled by working in Human Resources department/function/consulting

Preferred academic preparation or background experience:
Degree in Psychology or by permission of the faculty

  • Application for admission
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended
  • Two professional letters of recommendation
  • Current resume
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 (admission with undergrad below 3.0 by permission of the faculty)
  • Acceptable performance in statistics and research methods/experimental research design courses at the undergraduate level
