Departmental Information and Courses
Sr.Srozenski is the current chairperson of the Department of Religious Studies. She teaches the following courses: RST 203, Introduction to the Study of Religion; RST 226, Religion and Personality; RST 313 Toward Understanding Death and Dying; RST 402 Images of Jesus throughout History.
Professional Interests
Sr. Srozenski is concerned to make the connections between academic work and the wider community. She gives lectures, workshops, and retreats to church, educational and community groups. She has taught at the N.Y. Archdiocesan Center for Spiritual Development in the areas of the literature of Christian Spirituality and in certification programs for Directors of Religious Education. Additionally, she volunteers at the local soup kitchen.

Sr. Srozenski is a member of the College Theology Society.
Professional Research and Publications
Sr. Srozenski is interested in the issues surrounding the process of dying and death. She spent a sabbatical year researching internship programs and founded the Death and Dying Internship Course at Iona College. Students who take RST 313 in the Autumn Semester do so as an internship at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. The area of the integration of psychology and religion is another interest for Sr. Srozenski who also gives workshops in the areas of spiritual companioning, MBTI, and the Enneagram. Sr. Srozenski is currently researching Vincentian spirituality and spiritual direction.
Internship in RST 313
The internship for RST 313, Religious Dimensions of Death and Dying, is offered
every Autumn semester. Students fulfill the requirements of the course through an internship at Calvary Hospital, Bronx, NY, a hospital for the terminally ill. Students must apply for admission to the internship with Sr. Srozenski during the spring semester preceding the Autumn listing.
