Aron Hsiao

Aron Hsiao is a Ph.D. student in the sociology of media at the New School for Social Research. His dissertation considers the transformative effects of media and technology on social phenomena such as economic behavior and social locatedness. He holds an interdisciplinary masters degree in the social sciences from the University of Chicago and degrees in literary theory and cultural antropology from the University of Utah. His publication credits include recent articles in social theory, managing editorial roles at history publisher ABC-CLIO, and authorship of six mass-market books about computing, technology and electronic networks. In addition to teaching at Iona, he has also taught at St. John's University in Queens and at the the New School in Manhattan.

Alison Munsch

Alison Munsch is a seasoned research professional with over fifteen years of experience that encompasses a variety of research methodologies, techniques and applications. Alison Munsch has worked in the capacity of research professional in premier including the Gilette Company, The Pepsi Cola Company, and Kraft Foods. She has also worked in senior roles in research consulting, specializing in ethnic markets. She is thriled about her recent appointment at Iona College as adjunct faculty in the Sociology Department and in the Hagan School of Business. Alison Munsch holds a Masters Degree in Applied Research from the City University of New York.
