Consistent with Strategic
Initiatives 1, 2 and 3 of Goal III in the President’s Strategic Plan,
and in an effort to provide Iona’s students with a diverse, high quality
and appropriately credentialed faculty, all new faculty hires will be made
in compliance with the following recommendations:

When there is an immediate need for full-time faculty within a department

faculty may be hired on renewable term contracts for a period not to exceed
three years in total.
Part-Time Faculty

Instructor. For appointment at the rank of Adjunct Assistant Professor,
